The Garden House Wolsey Lodges is all about offering something that ‘little bit different’ and a stay at The Garden House near Wrexham is just that. You would be forgiven for thinking this is an old house when in fact is was created from reclaimed materials just 16 years ago and the five acres of gardens surrounding the house are now widely acclaimed and house a national collection of hydrangeas. The garden is a delightful maze of ‘rooms’ divided by topiary hedges with ponds, a dovecote, vegetable and fruit gardens and paths meandering between banks of gorgeous hydrangeas.
